Three girls saved me
Old long since
With bread and wine and love
By the troubled sea.
I wandered in misery
Through meadow, tavern, basilica
And three girls took me in
As wild as they were free.
And though I have lost all three
Old long since
And seek for them on shores
As far as I can see,
I know that I am saved
With bread and wine and love,
That I am wild as I am free
By the troubled sea.
