Recently, young people have been inundated by a disturbing trend of propaganda aimed at them. The state knows best: trust us. We care about you. Talk to your family about our new law. They just don’t know what’s good for them.

These and other disquieting admonitions attempting to promote the Affordable Care Act are just the latest clues as to how progressives view the average American. The average yokel is too stupid, bigoted, apathetic, or misinformed to see the true glory of this new law. It is meant to help them, after all. How could they have the audacity to not signup?

The focal point of these campaigns to educate or “re-educate” the populous has been directed at millennials. It’s simple math. Unless the healthy working age population signs-up, the new system will not have its needed funds. To avoid this, Obamacare advocates have released a slew of creepy, degrading, and paternalistic advertisements and admonitions.

From the sex crazed birth control ads to the big-brother like encouragements to have “family conversations” about Obamacare, we have seen the left’s view of America on full display. They are right. You cannot honestly disagree. You are either ignorant or malicious if you oppose ACA.

Thankfully, there is still a segment of the population that is not persuaded by celebrity endorsements and media-hype. The majority of Americans are not yet citizens of a brave new world. They will not yet accept promises to provide affordable protections against the dangerous side-effects of a promiscuous lifestyle as a substituted for reasoned arguments in support of this new intrusion into their lives.
