Mark G. Malvasi is the author of more than forty essays, editorials, and reviews and has published two books: The Unregenerate South: The Agrarian Thought of John Crowe Ransom, Allen Tate, and Donald Davidson and Slavery in the Western Hemisphere, c. 1500–1888. Since 1992, Malvasi has taught history at Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Virginia.
