Dr. Hospers is Ementus Professor of Philosophy at the University of Southern California and the first Libertarian Party candidate for President in 1972. He is the author of Libertarianism (Nash Pub., 1971), Understanding the Arts (Prentice-Hall, 1982), and Introduction to Philosophical Analysis (Prentice-Hall, 1953).
