Dr. Wade was a Southern Agrarian and a professor of English at the University of Georgia. He wrote two biographies, Augustus Baldwin Longstreet: A Study in the Development of Culture in the South (The Macmillan Company, 1924) and John Wesley (Coward-MCann, 1930).
