Jeffrey E. Wallin
Dr. Wallin received his Ph.D. and M.A. from the Claremont Graduate School, and his B.A. from Pepperdine University and is currently President of the American Academy for Liberal Education. He is a former Director of the Division of General Programs at the National Endowment for the Humanities where he also served as director of the Office of the Bicentennial of the U.S. Constitution. Dr. Wallin taught at the University of Dallas and the University of California, Santa Barbara, and has lectured on liberal education, U.S. Constitutional Law, and national security affairs in the United States, Europe, and Latin America. He has been Director of Program at the Robert M. Hutchins Center for the Study of Democratic Institutions in California, and at the Liberty Fund in Indianapolis, as well as Senior Fellow at the Institute for Foreign Policy analysis in Cambridge and Washington. Dr. Wallin was associate editor of Praeger’s series Democracy in the World. Dr. Wallin is the author of By Ships Alone: Churchill and the Dardanelles (Carolina Academic Press, 1981).
