Edward Murphy

Dr. Murphy was professor of law at the University of Notre Dame Law School from 1957 until his death in 1994. He earned his college and law degrees from the University of Illinois and practiced law for six years before joining the Notre Dame faculty. Professor Murphy, one of the leading authorities on contract law, was also a leading proponent of a jurisprudence based on natural law.
