Douglas Jerrold

Mr. Jerrold, a British critic and historian, was editor of the English Review from 1930 to 1936. His books include England (Scribner’s Sons, 1935), Georgian Adventure (Arrowsmith, 1937), The Future of Freedom: Christianity and Politics (Sheed & Ward, 1938), and Britain and Europe, 1900-1940 (Collins, 1941).
