Donald Davidson

Dr. Davidson was a distinguished poet, critic, and historian. Among his books are "Lee in the Mountains" and Other Poems (Houghton Mifflin Company, 1938), The Attack on Leviathan: Regionalism and Nationalism in the United States (University of North Carolina Press, 1938), and a two-volume history The Tennessee (Rinehart, 1946, 1948) in the Rivers of America Series.
