Dain A. Trafton

Dr. Trafton is Professor Emeritus at Rockford College. He has published articles on various topics in Renaissance and modern literature. He is the author of Tasso’s Dialogue on the Court (English Literary Renaissance Supplements, 1973), co-author of Tasso’s Dialogues: A Selection with the “Discourse on the Art of the Dialogue” (University of California Press, 1981), and co-editor of The Legacy of Benedetto Croce: Contemporary Critical Views (University of Toronto Press, 1999). He published his first short story, “Jeremiah’s Wrath: A Tale from the Indian Wars in Maine,” in Boulevard (Spring 1999), and he is currently working on others as well as a novel set in sixteenth-century Naples.
