Friday Evening: Conservative Book of the Year Dinner

Yuval Levin, A Time to BuildAnd the Conservative Book of the Year is . . .

 . . . Yuval Levin’s A Time to Build.

Join us Friday evening to hear from Levin about his timely and important book. The Wall Street Journal’s Peggy Noonan hails A Time to Build as “exactly what America needs right now”—“a moving call to recommit to the great project of our common life.”

You will see why Levin has been called “one of the two or three most influential young writers in politics today” (David Brooks, New York Times), “one of the most influential conservative writers in the United States” (Foreign Affairs), and “one of conservatism’s most sophisticated and measured explicators” (George F. Will).

Saturday Morning: Mini-Conference

ISI panel discussionAlumni often ask us how they can continue their ISI experience after they graduate.

Here is your chance.

On Saturday morning, get a taste of the serious and spirited discussion that characterizes all ISI events. You will sit in on three panel discussions featuring prominent conservative thinkers and leaders. The panels will cover big issues including the future of conservatism and the state of higher education today.

Come with questions for the panelists!

Enjoy a continental breakfast before the mini-conference. Boxed lunches will be served when the final panel discussion ends.

Saturday Afternoon: Graduate Fellow Reunion Luncheon

ISI Weaver Fellow alumniISI’s Graduate Fellowship Program has a distinguished history dating back to 1964, when the first class of Richard M. Weaver Fellows was named. Alumni of the program include economist Tyler Cowen, Hillsdale College president Larry Arnn, Heritage Foundation founder Ed Feulner, Land of Hope author Wilfred McClay, and hundreds of others.

The inaugural ISI Homecoming Weekend will mark the first reunion of ISI Graduate Fellows. ISI will host a special luncheon for former and current Graduate Fellows on the Saturday afternoon of Homecoming Weekend.

If you are a current or former ISI Graduate Fellow, be sure to register for this reunion luncheon. The event is complimentary—but reserve your seat now, because attendance will be limited to the first 100 people who sign up.

Note: You must be a former or current ISI Graduate Fellow to attend the Saturday luncheon. Spouses may attend as well.
