The Silicon Regime: Liberty, Technology, and the Next American Century
How should we interpret the threat of big tech to Liberty?
If you’re a conservative you know that big tech is not your friend. Biased censorship, de-platforming, the suppression of non-woke news and opinions are all the result of a new class of progressives in Silicon Valley who act more like oligarchs than businessmen. These aren’t just threats to the conservative movement but to the entire American project of liberty and equality under the law.
How should we respond to this unprecedented challenge?
Some believe the answer is to abandon the systems created by big tech, create new platforms, and prepare for current companies to double down on radical leftism. Others argue that conservatives must use the power of the state to break up big tech and save the American people from modern day monopolies. And others say that things aren’t nearly as bleak as we might believe and that there is still time to take this digital space back and stem their toxic, anti-American rhetoric.
Join us February 25th through 27th in Dallas, Texas for a weekend of debate and discussion as conservative businessmen, thought leaders, and innovators from all sides come together to see if there is an answer to the question of how to handle the new technologies that define so much of our lives. No matter what side you fall on, we can all agree that this is one of the biggest questions that will define the outcome of the next American century.
